Ricky’s story

This is an idea I first had in 2015 as a possible Oculus Rift VR game – the player working together with a computer controlled character through spoken conversation to solve puzzles.

I followed other project ideas instead, and came back to this in 2022 as a desktop PC game instead.

Technical prototyping with ugly graphics was remarkably quick to do and fun to play, and in 2023 I funded some professional environment art through the very talented Upsurge Studios.

The game currently has six playable puzzle rooms (out of an anticipated 30 or so), and is working towards a sequence of eight rooms before a proper announcement and the beginning of wider testing.
